1. Introduction

Brinley Atlas, LLC ("Brinley Field," "we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our platform, website, or waitlist. By using Brinley Field, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Data Controller Status

We function as an independent controller of your data. While we integrate with third-party platforms (such as Intuit, Google, Meta, and Zoho), we do not process your data on behalf of these entities, nor do we act as their agents.

2. Waitlist & Launch Notifications

When you join our waitlist or request launch notifications, we collect:

  • Email address: To notify you when Brinley Field launches
  • Tier interest: Which pricing tier you expressed interest in (optional)
  • Signup date: When you joined the waitlist

We use this information solely to:

  • Notify you when Brinley Field is available
  • Send occasional product updates (you can unsubscribe anytime)

We do not sell, share, rent, or trade your waitlist email with any third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Information We Collect (Active Users)

Once you create an account, we collect the following types of information to provide our Service:

  • Account Information: Name, email address, phone number, business name, and profile picture (via Google/Facebook Login if applicable).
  • Business Data: Leads, jobs, customers, invoices, estimates, and operational data you enter into Brinley Field.
  • Financial Data: Transaction data, invoices, and customer lists synced from QuickBooks Online (upon your explicit authorization).
  • Zoho Data: Contacts, invoices, and business records synced from Zoho services (upon your explicit authorization).
  • Usage Data: Information on how you interact with the platform, processed via our infrastructure providers (Vercel and Supabase).

4. Integration with Intuit (QuickBooks)

When you connect your QuickBooks Online account, we access specific categories of data directly from the Intuit Developer Platform. This includes financial records, customer details, and invoice data.

We store and process this data solely to provide the functionality of Brinley Field. We do not share this data with data brokers or third parties for marketing purposes. You may revoke this access at any time via your Brinley Field account settings or your Intuit App Center dashboard.

5. Google User Data (Limited Use Policy)

Our use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We only access your Google profile (name, email, avatar) for authentication. We do not sell your Google user data.

6. Integration with Zoho

When you connect Zoho services (such as Zoho CRM, Zoho Books, or Zoho Invoice) to Brinley Field, we access specific data directly from your Zoho account. This may include contacts, invoices, customer records, and other business data depending on the integration you enable.

We store and process this data solely to provide the functionality of Brinley Field. We do not share Zoho data with data brokers or third parties for marketing purposes. Your use of Zoho services is also governed by Zoho's Privacy Policy.

You may revoke this access at any time via your Brinley Field account settings or your Zoho account's connected applications page.

7. SMS Messaging & Privacy

If you provide your phone number, you consent to receive service-related text messages.

Privacy Commitment

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

8. Facebook Data Deletion Instructions

Pursuant to Meta's Platform Terms, you have the right to request deletion of your data. If you logged in via Facebook:

  1. Go to your Facebook Account "Settings & Privacy" → "Settings".
  2. Look for "Apps and Websites" and find "Brinley Field".
  3. Click "Remove".
  4. Alternatively, email privacy@brinleyatlas.com to request full account deletion.

9. Data Storage & Security

Your data is securely stored using Supabase, a cloud-hosted database provider with servers in the United States. Supabase encrypts data at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3).

While we implement commercially reasonable security measures, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but are committed to protecting your information using industry-standard practices.

10. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. If you cancel your account:

  • Your account remains recoverable for 30 days
  • After 30 days, personal data is anonymized
  • Financial records may be retained for up to 7 years for tax and legal compliance
  • You can request a full data export before account deletion

Waitlist email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe, request deletion, or convert to an active account.

11. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct: Update or correct inaccurate information
  • Delete: Request deletion of your personal data (Right to be Forgotten)
  • Export: Receive your data in a portable format
  • Revoke: Disconnect third-party integrations at any time
  • Unsubscribe: Opt out of marketing communications

12. Cookies & Analytics

We use essential cookies to maintain your session and preferences. We may use analytics tools to understand how users interact with our platform. We do not use cookies for advertising or tracking across other websites.

13. Children's Privacy

Brinley Field is designed for business use and is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected information from a child, we will delete it promptly.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of Brinley Field after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
