Terms of Service
Agreements for using Brinley Field, including safety disclaimers, data policies, and infrastructure terms.
1. Usage & Infrastructure
Use of Brinley Field requires an active subscription. The Service is hosted on third-party infrastructure (including Vercel and Supabase). While we strive for high reliability, we do not guarantee 100% uptime and are not liable for interruptions caused by these third-party providers. You agree not to misuse the platform or attempt unauthorized access.
2. Intuit & QuickBooks Integration
When you connect QuickBooks, you authorize us to process your User Data from the Intuit Developer Platform. We function as an independent controller of your data and are not an agent of Intuit. You warrant that you have the authority to grant this access.
3. SMS Messaging & Consent
By adding a phone number to your account, you agree to receive text messages from Brinley Field regarding account alerts and service updates. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP.
Privacy Note: Your mobile number and SMS consent data will never be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes.
4. Third-Party Authentication
If you log in via Google or Facebook, we access your basic profile information solely for identity verification. We do not claim ownership of your third-party accounts, and we are not responsible if you lose access to those accounts. Your use of these login methods is subject to the terms and privacy policies of the respective providers.
5. Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA)
Brinley Field is not a "consumer reporting agency" under the FCRA. Data provided via our service must not be used to determine eligibility for credit, insurance, employment, or housing.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claims (including data issues with Intuit, Google, or infrastructure providers) shall be limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months or $500, whichever is greater.
7. Workplace Safety & Non-Reliance
Brinley Field is a data management tool, not a safety device. You acknowledge that you are solely responsible for workplace safety, OSHA/regulatory compliance, and verifying physical conditions on-site. Do not rely on the Service for critical safety warnings, hazard avoidance, or emergency communications.
8. Offline Data & Synchronization
You acknowledge that data entered while offline (without an internet connection) is stored locally on your device's temporary storage. We are not responsible for data loss resulting from device failure, clearing of browser cache, or application deletion prior to successful synchronization with our servers.
9. Subscription & Cancellation
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled via Account Settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods or unused time.
